Get Productive: Take 25 minutes for yourself

By December 30, 2013No Comments

T25It’s no secret I don’t enjoy exercise. I know, I know it is good for you and your health and productivity and self esteem blah blah blah… and it’s also unglamorous, sweaty and uncomfortable… AND… necessary!

The most productive people I know focus on health. They invest time daily ensuring the one body they have been given in this lifetime will perform.

Fitness has never been my strength, maybe you can relate?  I have had gym memberships, personal trainers, tried every diet, played with P90x, bought the latest gadget; read the trendy books featured on Oprah and Dr Oz…. And yet there is no escaping we just need to do the work!  Recently I was sharing frustration that P90x takes an hour and someone introduced me to T25 (the same guy who does Insanity… aptly named for sure) – and no I am on commission for this or any affiliate, it is just a program that seems to make sense from a productivity point of view.

Let me assure you I don’t love jumping jacks or burpees in the wee hours of the morning (and don’t have a body for running or jumping), and yet have stuck with this program because it is only 25 minutes a day (plus 2-3 minutes stretching) so technically maybe allow 28 minutes!

What could you do for just 25 minutes a day that would help you feel great and look great?

My challenge to you as you approach a new year with new goals to get in the best shape of your life – invest 25 minutes in yourself each day, you will be so glad you did!

My theme for 2014 is fitness – that means spiritual, relational, physical, education and soul fitness. What’s your theme?

Share your theme with us here on our blog.

Happy New Year – may it be your most productive (and most healthy) ever!

PS. If you want more ideas on how to increase your productivity – check out other blogs here and several eBooks you can share with your team.
