Questions for job seekers to use in job interviews

When you have an opportunity to meet a potential employer it is always worth being prepared with a list of relevant questions you can ask them about the role or the environment you will be working in.

If an interviewer asks you at the end of the interview if you have any questions – always reply “Yes!”

  • Who will I be working with?
  • How many people are in the team I will be part of?
  • Are we required to work on public holidays?
  • How long is the induction program?
  • What induction program is planned for me?
  • What training is offered to staff for this company?
  • What personal development can I look forward to?
  • What on the job training will I receive?
  • Do you have a social club?
  • How do I get involved in the social club?
  • Where can I get more reading material about this company?
  • Where are the other offices for this company?
  • Does this company have an international presence?
  • Will I be required to work overtime?
  • If so, how often?
  • May I have a tour of the office?
  • What have you enjoyed most about working here?
  • What are the dress standards?
  • Is there a uniform?
  • Is there a team meeting?
  • How often does the team meet?
  • How often is the performance review?
  • When do I start?
