Get Productive: Stop Blaming Time

By November 25, 2013No Comments

We are all busy. We all want to make the most of every moment and some weeks we say horrible things about time.

We blame time.

We try to kill time.

We often say ‘there are never enough hours in the day’. Let’s change our language around time. Let’s decide to make time our friend. Let’s decide to change our language around time. Instead of saying ‘I don’t have time’ – replace it this phrase with ‘I didn’t choose to spend time on that’ – liberating isn’t it!! Oh by the way a little side note, you may want to avoid saying that to your boss!

We all get 1440 minutes in a day. It doesn’t matter if you are Beyoncé, Blake Lively or BB King! Time doesn’t care how old you are, how young you are, what the title says on your business card or how long you have been in your role. Time is going to happen (whether you like it or not).

Today – choose to make your 1440 minutes significant. Change your relationship with time. Choose to look at making the most of every moment.

‘Every moment counts, every second matters’ – Elie Wiesel
