There is something so American about college football.
Not that I would know as I am not American, however I recently attended my very first football game at Penn State University and I was ridiculously excited!
Penn State was playing East Michigan who scored first and it was their only touchdown of the game. Penn State won 45-7 (so the right team won). Me, I was fascinated by the East Michigan marching band! The level of coordination and enthusiasm all while dressed in full outfits including gloves… gloves people; truly amazing!
The East Michigan marching band had traveled by bus (I am guessing) many hours on their weekend to support their team. They stood and danced and played in the heat all dressed up. It got me thinking, who is in your support team and how far would they go for you?
Many of you have had the delight of working with our business manager Maria Novey. She has been my partner in crime for many years and if you have been in any of our audiences, you will have heard me say, ‘I could never do what I do without my Maria!’ She is definitely one of the keys to the success of our practice – she is vital to how we do everything on a daily basis. I also know there is nothing she wouldn’t do to help us achieve our goals. She will also tell you that I assume anything can be done; I truly believe someone will be able to help me.
Who is your support team? Will they go the distance for you? If you are going to be successful in any area we all need a support crew.
