Get Productive: Be a Cheerleader

By September 9, 2013No Comments

I think I would have been a great cheerleader!

I can do perky, cute, smile a lot and jump around… well maybe when I was younger!

This weekend while attending my very first American football game at Penn State (which we won so it was even better), of course I was fascinated by the cheerleaders.

So pretty, so cute and so incredibly fit, constantly engaging the audience to support their team. Obviously I loved their outfits, pom poms, big smiles and athleticism.

Aussies don’t have the same college experience as Americans. We don’t live on campus, don’t have frat houses or sorority… made me wish I was MUCH younger LOL – yep I admit it, I said to my honey ‘I could have done this’ – ah to be young again.

It got me thinking… who is your cheerleader?  Do you have someone in your life that cheers for you, supports you, make you laugh when you need cheering up, and is willing to believe in you when you sometimes don’t?  If not, go out and find someone.  We all need someone to back us, someone to believe in us. I have many people like that and I couldn’t do life without them. Go find yours.

Yep, I could have been a cheerleader … maybe that’s this year’s Halloween costume?
