1. Workout with my JMethod Travel Gym EVERY DAY – I did workout and managed to get to pullups … but a ridiculous amount of comfort/stress/sadness/boredom eating meant my waist expanded while my muscles didn’t!
2. Find a photo digitizing service to send 30 years of photos – took me 2 years to finally get this together but am happy I chose Everpresent to complete this for me (it’s pricey but will be worthwhile, especially as my family lost everything in the recent Australian floods so now I can share my pictures with them)
3. Facetime or Zoom with one friend EVERY day – yes in the early days but I quickly got tired of being on camera all day every day for 12-14 hours+ per day.
4. Write one thank you note EVERY day YES I did do this and still do – it’s a habit, it’s a system!
5. Complete Well Dressed Life Wardrobe challenge YES I did this too, Megan’s system is so easy to follow and I donated many items to others who need them more than me and it felt great.
6. Meditate for 10+ minutes EVERY day Not always 10 minutes but absolutely every day – yep this is a great system for every day and it helped me emotionally and mentally during COVID.
7. Walk 10K steps before 10 am NOPE I was able to walk but quickly stopped wearing my FitBit as I was sitting all day and it was annoying (and a little depressing) knowing I wasn’t hitting my target!
8. Complete a Peloton workout EVERY day MOST days I either cycled, yoga-ed, meditated, etc but not EVERY day
9. Drink 3+ liters of water daily. NOPE this is a big challenge for me every day and I am still working on it
10. Outline my latest book so … here’s the thing, I actually DID outline it, had it approved by the publisher and edited by their publisher, and even shown to brilliant CEOs for sales companies who liked it too… but then I scrapped the whole project! WHY? Because it would have made no sense to write and publish a book when the world was in crisis, so glad I didn’t! Writing and publishing are hard enough but given the insanity of the past few years so glad I didn’t do it.
