Important COVID-19 Update How we can help you

This morning I read Seth Godin’s blog (as I do most mornings, his is one of the first I read and some days I love it and other days I think …Ok) – today’s resonated with me.  The premise of the blog was connection.  This is something that is critical to me and something I have always loved to do. You can read Seth’s blog here called Sea of Strangers.

While reading it I instantly thought of my friend Thom Singer – this guy is a brilliant speaker and author and has a phenomenal offering for conventions and meetings called the Conference Catalyst where he can help all your attendees connect at a level they never have before – his clients rave about him and he is constantly asked back time and time again and he is always giving back. I deeply admire Thom and he is one of my National Speakers Association buddies.

He wrote a great blog this morning called Being Friendly is Generous and we thought you might enjoy reading it here.

When I first relocated from Sydney, Australia to little Doylestown, PA I constantly reached out to people, connected other people and quickly built a network of friends (and some I consider family), and clients and all because of the premise of giving first

Do you give first?

Do you promote other people?

Do you make introductions for others?

Do you ask how you can help people before you ‘tell’ them all about you?

This week I challenge you to be generous, be friendly and take my friend Thom’s great advice.

What are your ideas on how you be more generous with your connections? Share your ideas with us here on our blog.

PS. If you want more ideas on how to increase your productivity – check out other blogs here and several eBooks you can share with your team.
