Take my advice…I am not using it!

Do you ever listen to the advice you give others? How many times have you shared wisdom with other people and yet not applied it yourself?

I decided to embark on a personal experiment. I would take my own advice for 30 days and then share my results… hmm. So far, I am not doing so well. While I am able to implement some of my brilliant ideas, others get left out, overlooked and not implemented. Now I want to know why…

I was chatting with the lovely and talented stylist, Megan Kristel, about the ideas I am able to generate for others and yet, funnily enough, I don’t implement those same ideas in my own business. She really challenged me to start implementing my own advice.

She’s right, so here we are, I decided I would listen to her and start to implement some of my fabulous productivity suggestions and if you want to join me on this journey, stay tuned.

Something I believe is important is to allocate 15 minutes to complete activities. So I gave myself 15 minutes to jot down this blog to you, done!

Challenge: What is an activity that you have been putting off or delaying or even procrastinating about? Try applying my 15 minute rule. Just give it 15 minutes…see what happens and let me know what your results are.

So take my advice… I am now trying to use it!
