Get Productive: My fave apps and systems (right now)

By November 8, 2013No Comments

I am constantly asked about my favorite apps and systems I use. So to make your life easier, more productive and possibly more fun, here is a list of the ones I use daily… yes there are a gazillion more I could share with you… but these are my go-to, daily on my Mac or iPhone or iPad ones I love. Enjoy!

Email management

We use Gmail. Simple. Easy and a trillion different plug-ins available to make it even more productive.

Boomerang awesome for delayed messaging and follow up. Highly recommend it.

Pause is fun to pause your inbox so you can focus.

Calendar

We use Google calendar (surprise) – it just makes sense to use to use all the Google products.

Social media

Hootsuite (obviously) for a consolidated platform to post and to manage all your social media needs.

Anti – social – this is our fave app to keep us from being on Facebook, Twitter, eBay, Pinterest, Instagram… you name the fun site… it blocks you for periods of time (you choose) love it!

Rapportive (a plug in for Gmail) provides the social media contacts for every person you are emailing.

To Do

Things  – syncs with all devices, just use it; it’s worth it.

Cozi – for shopping lists and you can share them with others in your family. It’s really a calendaring app but we use the shopping list feature.

Note taking and notes

Noteshelf app and we also use the pogo stylus so it kinda feels like pen and paper.

Text Expander – you can use this to systemize responses and so much more!

Dropbox – a must have for everyone. Cloud storage, say no more.

Energy management

Pandora because I LOVE music around me ALL the time.

Pzizz – yes it’s a power napping app and it rocks, just try it if you don’t believe me.
