How to be healthy, wealthy and wise

Here are some quick tips to help you focus on your health, provide money saving ideas and increase your wisdom.

Get up by 7.30 am

You may not be a morning person or 7.30 am may be late for you… but try and discipline yourself to rise early and make the most of the day.

Exercise daily

Try to schedule at least 4-5 exercise sessions per week and this way, if you miss a day, you will still enjoy the benefits of looking after your body. Make it fun and interesting and vary the activities to include walking, boxing, running, yoga, weight lifting, Pilates or martial arts.

Have a TV free night once a week

Play music, light candles, sit and enjoy your meal, go on a date or soak in a bath. Don’t waste precious time in front of the TV.

Protect your time by turning off your mobile phone when you are trying to complete an important task.

Change your message to advise when you will be available to assist manage your callers expectations.

Check your email twice a day – only not all day long!

We can waste so much time reviewing each message when it comes in, avoid the temptation to answer emails when they arrive, just check morning and afternoon if possible.

Get your house organised

Remove the clutter, tidy problem areas, create storage solutions and remove mess. You will feel more in control when your home is a retreat and not a constant reminder of things to do.

Save money

Saving tips could include; eat at home more often, take your lunch to work occasionally, avoid the shops if you are a shopaholic, keep a record of every purchase you make for a month and then sit down and review it (this can be scary sometimes when you see where all your money gets spent).

Allocate a day to visit a favourite location

i.e. café, hotel, beach to sit and set your goals for the year and review your goals for the previous year. This is a great activity to do in January each year.

Be well read

Purchase a variety of books to assist broaden your knowledge base and conversation topics.

Enrol in a part time course at your local TAFE or community centre.

Learn how to make sushi, how to scuba dive, complete a train the trainer course, update your presentation skills or learn the mechanics of your car – expand your skill set.
These tips will assist you achieve amazing things in your life by being healthy, wealthy and wise.
